Jason Weigandt was assigned to do 450 Words, but because The Weege cares about GNCC like no other human on the planet, he got busy with that and passed this on to me. Apparently, last week his 450 Words impressed some VIPs, and I think he asked me to do this because he knows mine will suck compared to his. I don’t even have a theme or an idea of what to do but this first paragraph is already 91 words so I’m looking good. If I keep writing about Weege soon, there will be 250 words left, and that I can handle.

James Stewart | | | RedBud has come and gone, and we saw that James Stewart is just an incredible force of nature that can’t be stopped this summer. He’s like the latest Pixar movie with talking animals. You just know beforehand that it’s going to be a juggernaut and there’s nothing anybody can do to stop it. The only thing that the seven can try is to grab both holeshots and lead every lap of the race. He didn’t do that this weekend, but he came close despite an AMA penalty that forced him to start on the outside in the first moto. Just like another movie this summer, you don’t want to make James mad, because his steed is already green and powerful. Mike Alessi grabbed the first-moto holeshot and led a lap before the incredible rider came through.
In the second moto, James grabbed the BTOSports.com holeshot, breaking the Suzuki rider’s streak, but that would be the second-worst thing to happen to Mikey, as about seven seconds later, he would go down after the ski jump and suffer a horrible crash. It was so ugly that the officials decided to red-flag the moto, and that right there meant something. Mike escaped really serious injury but will be out of action for a while.
On the restart, James grabbed the start again and it was bye-bye for everyone else. After that, the battle for second was on between Andrew Short and Tim Ferry. The riders, who are mirror images of each other on and off the track, waged war for five laps before Ferry managed to fight his way through and grab second place. Shorty would lose the battle but win the war with his second overall, and he admitted in the press conference that he loves to race Ferry "because he’s aggressive but a clean rider, and I know what to expect.”
