Martin Honda rider Marc De Reuver suffered a serious setback in his 2008 GP campaign when he injured his foot during a training session at Lommel this week. After his foot slipped off the footpeg, it got caught up, forcing an overextension and a resultant break of a bone in the foot.
Dr. Claes in Belgium has confirmed the break and the prognosis is that De Reuver will be out of action for four to five weeks, forcing him to miss at least the GPs of South Africa and Lommel, where he was tipped as one of the favourites.
